We are excited to announce that VanCAF will be returning with an in-person festival for 2024! VanCAF 2024’s in-person festival will host numerous volunteer opportunities helping out with customer service, set-up/tear down, day-to-day festival operations, panels & workshops.
We are currently recruiting volunteers to help out with the festival. This show wouldn’t be possible without the tireless efforts of our past and future volunteers so we greatly appreciate you for offering to help us in dedicating time to this festival.
A training and orientation session will be provided for all volunteers in advance of the festival. This will be a one-to-two hour time commitment a few weeks before the festival that goes into further detail for the roles and expectations. No previous volunteer experience is required: all we ask for is a good attitude, dependability, and an interest in the local comic arts scene.
In-person volunteer support will be primarily needed on site at the Roundhouse, from the 17th to the 19th.
In-person volunteer roles this year will be supporting:
- Festival set-up and teardown
- Customer service
- Directing attendees
- Assisting with panels and workshops
- Event photography
