Vivian Zhou is a Chinese Canadian cartoonist and filmmaker currently based in Halifax, NS. She has a passion for telling authentic, diverse stories. She has self-printed two comic zines, SAIL (2020), and Dreams of Flying (2022); her debut graphic novel Atana and the Firebird is releasing in November 2023 from HarperCollins. She is a winner of the 2020 edition of the MICE Mini-Grant.
