Rike Rothe is an animation director and comic artist from Germany. She lives and works both in so called “Vancouver” and Berlin.
In her comics Rike likes to write short autobiographical stories, travel journals – mostly based on true events – and weird dreamlike fiction with odd characters.
Rike is part of the German comic anthology “W.I.L.D.” where she contributes as an artist as well as co-editor. “W.I.L.D.” features a collection of international artists, is printed in risoprint and has a volume of 2 issues so far.
Rike Rothe is co-founder of the animation studio monstroos in Berlin.
