MAYA McKIBBIN is a Two-Spirited Ojibwe, Irish filmmaker, illustrator and indie game artist. They grew up in shíshál territory and later in the Southwest of England. Mayas work explores the magic of the natural world both human and not, their illustrations and comics takes on subjects of the supernatural, grief, nostalgia and curiosity. In publishing they’ve worked with Greystone books, Annick Press and Penguin. They’ve worked in Stop Motion Animation as a storyboard artist, compositor and Art Director with Spotted Fawn Productions as well as with Playdead Games as an artist.
