Magnus vdM is a comic artist, illustrator, zine enthusiast, and printmaker currently existing in ‘Vancouver’. He’s worked on many published anthology works, including Fantastic Frights with Cloudscape, and the new Discovery vol 1 from Cauldron Books & Comics, and focuses on short comics, narrative illustration, and experimenting with relief printing in their own time . His work is guided by his love for stories with strong emotional cores, monsters and myths, mysterious landscapes, exploration of complicated relationships to the body, and characters seeking connection, with a recent pivot to exploring horror and more adult themes. They also have a thriving collection of houseplants and a comparatively still collection of bones.
