Ally Novak is an illustrator and tattoo artist currently working out of a private studio in Chinatown, Vancouver. She moved from Regina, Saskatchewan in 2016 to study at Emily Carr University of Art + Design and graduated in 2020 with a BFA in illustration. During her time at Emily Carr she explored children’s book illustration, copper etching, relief printing, and creative writing.

While tattooing is her primary practice, she also works with several other mediums such as printmaking, book binding, zines, acrylic paint, and more. Her passions include reptiles, insects, and making people smile; which is often reflected in her work.
