Ali Rae (she/her) is a bipolar queer comic maker and poet. A sometimes nurse, a sometimes sex worker, she completed her MFA in 2022 at the University of British Columbia while living on the unceded territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən, Songhees, Esquimalt and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples and is currently tackling a PhD. She tries to mash together the sinister and comedic, plays the accordion poorly once a month, cuddles her dog on the porch in the sun, drinks too much coffee, and tries not to spiral.
