HAL (she/her) is a cartoonist, illustrator, and muralist based in Calgary, Alberta. After being dredged out of the Atlantic ocean on a cold January night, HAL swore to dedicate her life to drawing comics about the end of the world and worshipping cartoon dog people. Beyond her ongoing webcomic “The Wind Beneath the Aspens” HAL’s work has been published in Reverie Magazine, RAT! Mag, XTRA, multiple acclaimed anthologies by Renegade Arts Entertainment, and an upcoming release by Diskette Press. HAL plans to keep drawing until either her hands fall off or she dies in a nuclear blast, whichever happens last.
