Looking at Layout with Kathleen Gros

Join professional comic artist Kathleen Gros for a 1-hour workshop all about the basics of setting up a comics page! Everything on a comic page is important to the story. Gros will cover the topics of panels, gutters, page-size, word balloon placement, and more to get you started on making your own comic. This workshop is intended for everyone.

Kathleen Gros is a cartoonist living in Vancouver, BC. Her first graphic novel, Last Night at Wyrmwood High, was published in 2015 by Cloudscape Comics. She is currently working on her second, Lunar Maladies, which updates as a weekly webcomic. Her third will be published by HarperCollins in fall of 2020.
