“To Comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable”. Reckoning Publishing is a graphic novel and art publisher founded in 2025 by independent comic book creators Yan Wei Lau and Joel Gay Han. It started with a character “RED” and its narrative of seeking truth, justice and grounding its belief in speaking for the underdog. Reckoning Publishing hopes to bring about stories and art that encapsulates the study of the human condition and the idea of the “self”.
