Darcy Van Poelgeest is an award winning Canadian comic book writer and filmmaker. He’s known for his poetic and thought-provoking narrative work in multiple mediums. His comics have been published with BOOM! Studios, Dark Horse Entertainment, and Image Comics, beginning with the Eisner Award winning series, Little Bird (2020). Darcy’s most recent work, Precious Metal (2025), was nominated for the Harvey Award’s ‘Book of the Year’.
