Monica is a Latinx illustrator based in Vancouver, and a graduate of Laguna College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration with Drawing and Painting emphasis. She is known for her bold colors and expressive characters. She has worked on various storyboarding projects for major brands such as Honda and Disney, and was a Senior Designer for Go, Dog. Go! with Wildbrain/Netflix/ and DreamWorks. She is also the illustrator for the forthcoming middle grade graphic novel series Doña Quixote: Rise of the Knight (Holt Children’s 2023) And Dona Quixote Book 2 (2024)
