Justin Gradin is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice encompasses painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, video, and sound. Across these mediums, Gradin juxtaposes multilayered visual elements that he appropriates from various sources, both original and found within popular culture. In combining seemingly unrelated imagery, Gradin creates an illusory pictorial space where expectations and sense of perspective are unreliable.
