Alexis is a cartoonist, animator and embroidery artist. Her comics include fiction and autobiographical work, and her best known comic is a memoir about her breast reduction, It’s All For the Breast. Other titles include My Sister’s Voice, The Disappearance of Melody Dean, as well as several short travel journals. Alexis is also known for her embroidery animations, which are short animations that have been embroidered entirely by hand.
