Because VanCAF 2022 takes place in a city-owned, public building, we must follow facilities regulations when it comes to COVID-19 precautions. This means we cannot enforce the wearing of masks or check for vaccine passports. All VanCAF Staff and Volunteers will be masked and  are required to have a valid vaccine passport. However, we greatly encourage the use of masks when attending VanCAF and we will provide a mask if you would like one. We want everyone to be as safe as possible and we thank you in advance for keeping others safe. The number of exhibitors tabling has been greatly reduced to provide more personal space for exhibitors and attendees alike. Doors to the outside will be open to increase ventilation.

We realize that not everyone will be comfortable attending VanCAF in person, which is totally cool! We have a number of events throughout the week at smaller locations where you may feel more comfortable as well as a selection of online presentations. We will also be livestreaming VanCAF panels from the Theatre during the weekend free on our YouTube and Facebook page!

And, of course: if you have any symptoms of illness, please stay home!
